Monsieur George, a five-star boutique hotel owned by the HN6 hotel group – head of the Adresses Hotels collection – is nestled in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. In homage to the first president of the United States, George Washington, actress and interior designer Anouska Hempel has created a place that is both elegant and intimate. 

As soon as guests enter the lobby, they can already admire the shaft of light that bathes the hotel. In an Art Deco style, noble materials such as velvet, glass and marble set the tone and invite us to travel instantly. The green predominates through the various plants, but also the gradations of colors that dress each space.

This modern-day jewel offers 46 rooms and 3 suites – ranging from 16 to 45 m² – filled with elegance. Actress Stacy Martin posed in front of the camera in the Garden Suite for our last issue. Although minimalist, Mr. George’s cocoons are no less comfortable. Most of the rooms have a balcony or a small terrace and offer a breathtaking view of the City of Light.

The journey continues at Galanga, Monsieur George’s gourmet restaurant, where the menu has been carefully dictated by chef Thomas Danigo. On the plate, vegetables predominate. Fried or grilled, caramelized or roasted, each product is cooked with love in the respect of traditions.
