In the rainy alleys of Paris, a dance unfolds on the edge of the sidewalk, captured by the watchful eye of India Lange.
Cinématographiquement vôtre
A self-taught visual artist with a passion for images, India Lange started out in the field of visual creation by making short films. These works, characterised by captivating scenarios and photogenic aesthetics, explore themes such as brutality, madness and human melancholy, often with a touch of the absurd.
India Lange has also developed a passion for photography, a field in which she excels with the same fervour as in her film projects. Founder of the NNNV (Nouvelle Nouvelle Nouvelle Vague) agency, she has produced numerous portraits and photographic series. Her work has earned her recognition in both film and fashion circles, leading her naturally to fashion photography. Mixing elements of cinematic staging with raw snapshots, these photographs reveal a deep truth about her subjects.

People and Their Passions
Whether in urban, rural or studio settings, Lange finds inspiration in the interstices of everyday life, where reality flirts with fiction.
Her works, whether film or photography are poetic reflections on the human condition, exploring the space between what is and what could be. Her fashion photography, enriching her artistic practice, oscillates between elaborate compositions and spontaneous captures, highlighting the human essence in its purest form.
This body of work embarks us on her thematic and poetic approach to human nature, at once abrupt, sensitive and emotional. Through her art, India Lange invites us to rediscover the world, both static and in motion, in a new light.
