Mosaert is the creative label of singer-songwriter Stromae. In 2009, following the release of his debut album Cheese, the Belgian artist decided to set up his own production company – from art direction to stage management. Five years later, Mosaert’s future was turned upside down with the creation of a clothing line for the general public. Once a year, the fashion brand releases a unisex collection combining bright colours and atypical patterns. All made from organic and recycled materials. 

This year, Capsule 8 advocates self-acceptance. Through this collection, Coralie Barbier – stylist and Creative Director of Mosaert – sublimates a beauty often considered imperfect. “I drew a lot of inspiration from freckles and beauty spots to create this collection. For me, it echoed pointillism and the whole abstract art movement,” she says.

From close-fitting leggings to quilted down jackets and sweatshirts with detachable sleeves, the thirty-four sportswear pieces that make up Capsule 8 are designed to feel like a second skin.
