LONDON CALLING

During a fashion shoot, assistant stylist Lauren Perrin noticed that the demand for tights and gloves was much higher than the supply. She quickly grabbed her savings, turned to her friends to shoot her creations and launched her namesake brand in 2020 by positioning herself in this niche market. Originally from Bayonne but based in London, Lauren Perrin studied at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and then moved across the Channel to become an assistant stylist for three years. Without this experience, her brand would probably never have been born. She would never have known that stylists were looking for these accessories and she would never have had the idea of launching herself in this niche. Since then, her pieces have been dressing legs and forearms in a satin style inspired by the seventies and optical art. The success was almost immediate, and her pieces have brought their perfectly measured touch of eccentricity to the pages of Dazed, Vanity Fair, Vogue USA and Italia, W Mag, ELLE and AnOther. The lovely Bella Hadid has also adopted the arty trend of these accessories that, in addition to their aesthetic, boast a green confection: her tights are made of recycled polyester and the fabric packaging recovered from a prestigious London house. A beautiful entry into the world of creation for this young designer who doesn’t intend to stop there – her ready-to-wear line is planned for February 2022. Another beautiful promise to follow closely.
