United States – Florida

The multidisciplinary studio VBO Architecture, based in São Paulo and New York, brilliantly combines structure and nature. For its founder, Victor B. Ortiz, each of his projects must invoke livability with nature, culture, and technology in a seamless way. In collaboration with architect Renata Leinemann, he completed this custom hotel suite, designed as part of a larger resort to take advantage of Florida’s climate. This place feels heavenly, tailored to both the client and the environment, offering shade and 360-degree panoramic views.

The metal roof contrasts with the warm-toned wood and stone floors; the space is airy but still intimate. This is evidenced by the outdoor courtyard, which allows you to experience the natural landscape in a variety of ways, with friends or on your own. Glass panels and sliding doors protect the interior from the elements, while bringing in the greenery when the doors are open. The Satellite Hotel creates a sense of privacy, tranquility, and belonging, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside.
