DESTREE, A CURVY BOUTIQUE

A women’s ready-to-wear and accessories brand, Destree was founded in 2016 by Géraldine Guyot, a graduate of Central Saint-Martins, and Laetitia Lumbroso, a graduate of a luxury course at ESSEC and IFM, where she completed a complementary master’s degree. Two women who put contemporary art at the center of their respective universes while paying particular attention to details.

Destree is also a cosmopolitan label where styles meet and blend to offer a unique identity to each customer. All this without forgetting the story of a colorful and singular passion that underlines the features of the pieces in pure forms that gives life to an offbeat and essential wardrobe.

But these two fashion and art lovers are trying, via a conceptual boutique, to seduce Parisian women and travelers passing through the French capital. And it’s done thanks to the sculptor Simone Bodmer-Turner, who was given carte blanche to imagine a space at the crossroads between art and craftsmanship dear to the eyes of the designers who were directly seduced by the artist’s signature style.

Through the curves and the purity of a mineral chromatic palette, the sculptor invites us to enter a world of softness to live an immersive experience as a link between New York and Paris, two cities that Geraldine Guyot is particularly fond of.

The visual, graphic, and structured aesthetic of the pieces responds to the noble materials produced by European craftspeople by mixing colors and modern geometry that contrast with the white walls with almost human curves. Pure forms to highlight each creation, giving us an eye once the door is open.
