Studio Aristide Dallas: Ochre, bare concrete and local stone

The architecture studio Aristides Dallas designs this elegant transformation: that of a country house into a luxurious farmhouse, located on the famous island of Cyclades. Not far from the sea, Villa Melissa is resolutely turned towards the wild and singular nature that surrounds it, guiding the view inside the plot, while making us wander via small paths.

To the existing country house, typical of the local architecture, the Greek studio combined cubic units, which follow the existing footprint of the building. In terms of palette, a range of ochre was chosen, using bare concrete and local stone as a support, as if to celebrate the surrounding nature and the happy porosity of the interior and exterior.
