FROM THE BEAN TO THE PLATE: A SENSORY PASSION

It all begins with the awakening of the five senses and the story of a passion for chocolate. A desire to be able to eat it everywhere and all the time underlined by sensoriality to nourish both body and mind. A precise gesture from the harvest, to the mixing, to the tasting. A poetic sound, when the plate slaps under the fingers, guided by the search for the raw taste with a packaging bearing the initials S and N, for Sandra and Nicolas, at the head of this love born in the heart of Paris, where hides a workshop-boutique of chocolate unique in its kind! Welcome to the Plaq factory, an exceptional place where traceability and sustainability are at the heart of the artisanal process that will go straight to the heart and mouth.

Rare and very aromatic beans are carefully selected from human-sized cultivations, because the primary goal is to obtain ethically sourced and qualitative materials. After fermentation and drying, the beans are transported by boat before finishing their journey by truck to Paris. Once the beans arrive at the port, they are selected by hand to reveal a true, raw, unadulterated taste.

Then, thanks to a real mastery, the chocolate maker-treater will have fun with the seasons to enhance the raw material to the maximum.

Once the homogeneous paste is obtained, the chocolate is then produced and developed in plates, cakes, cookies, pies, spreads, and drinks. But be careful because the menu is different depending on the day of the week. Be reassured, going to the store is to be sure not to leave empty-handed thanks to the vast choice and the almost infinite options offered.

But it remains to be seen who will be the first to melt… In any case, you won’t be left out in the cold!
