Known for its traditions and culture, Mexico is also rich in biodiversity. Close to the sea and not far from the jungle are the restaurants ARCA and WILD, two small culinary jewels in the heart of Tulum. Discover them.
ARCA, a green culinary cocoon
Recognizable by its verdant vegetation, the restaurant ARCA is a haven of peace created in 2015 by Christian and Hermione Mora. The two founders decided to launch this project with the goal of highlighting local products. This was accomplished when American chef Jose Luis Hinostroza joined their kitchen, crafting uninhibited dishes where nature takes precedence. Inspired by ancestral techniques used by the Mayans, his harmonious menu is an ode to flora and fauna.
At once urban, tropical, and rustic, the interior of ARCA reflects the atmosphere that surrounds it. Wooden tables, candles, intimate cocktail bar… everything is provided to create an experience rich in emotions by the side of the jungle of Tulum.

WILD, an immersive restaurant in the jungle of Tulum
Located between the sea and the jungle of Tulum, WILD invites you to travel through its immersive interior that is part of the surrounding vegetation. Founded by Karen Young, the restaurant is considered one of the city’s most upscale venues. The founder imagined a unique place that mixes modern and ancient influences in its interior to offer a whimsical restaurant. In the kitchen, American chef Norman Fenton has fun with his culinary creations, mixing influences from every country: pork belly with an achiote sauce – an exotic fruit – and salmon ceviche with tomato salsa are to be discovered, especially in the 8-course tasting menu.
