The world's fashion capital, Paris, lives to the rhythm of Fashion Week throughout the year. More than just a professional gathering, these events have become true cultural highlights, where fashion engages with art, photography, and design. Each season, five Fashion Weeks structure this demanding calendar and attract designers, buyers, journalists, and artists from around the globe. Paris Fashion Week has thus established itself as a global phenomenon, transforming the city into an open-air creative stage.

These successive events shape the very identity of Paris, revealing the richness of its neighborhoods and the diversity of its venues. Fashion shows, presentations, and showrooms take over private mansions, museums, galleries, and hybrid spaces, blurring the lines between artistic disciplines. Fashion is no longer simply displayed: it is exhibited, staged, and experienced within the city.

Haute Couture Fashion Week

Haute Couture Fashion Week opens and closes the year. Held in January and then July, it embodies the absolute excellence of French craftsmanship. Unique pieces, artisanal techniques, and boundless creativity define this exceptional week, where fashion approaches the realm of art. Paris is the only city in the world to officially host Haute Couture, reinforcing its status as an international benchmark.

During this period, the chosen locations took on particular importance. Palaces, historical buildings, and cultural spaces became the settings for exceptional collections. Paris Fashion Week It then takes on a heritage dimension, celebrating both architectural heritage and creative innovation.

Men's Fashion Week

Men's Fashion Week takes place twice a year, in January and June. It showcases the menswear collections of major fashion houses as well as emerging designers. Increasingly experimental, menswear is becoming a fully-fledged artistic expression, where scenography, performances, and installations play a central role.

This Fashion Week readily embraces neighborhoods with a strong character, such as northern Paris or the Marais, where creative energy fosters alternative formats. Paris Fashion Week Masculine thus reflects a fashion in motion, open to cultural influences, contemporary art and new visual narratives.

Women's Fashion Week

Women's Fashion Week, held in March and September, is the highlight of the calendar. Ready-to-wear collections, spectacular runway shows, and immersive presentations transform Paris into a vast creative laboratory. During these weeks, the entire city becomes a stage where fashion is experienced, showcased, and exhibited.

Iconic neighborhoods play a central role here. While Avenue Montaigne and the Faubourg Saint-Honoré embody historical luxury, the Marais stands out as the heart of contemporary creation. Galleries, showrooms, and cultural venues host a rich program, making the Paris Fashion Week an event deeply rooted in urban life.

Pre-Fall/Cruise Fashion Week

In addition to these events, there is the Pre-Fall/Cruise Fashion Week, more exclusive but essential. It allows fashion houses to present interim collections in often hybrid formats, somewhere between exhibition, performance, and artistic experience, further strengthening the links between fashion and culture.

These presentations favor flexible spaces and narrative formats, where clothing interacts with image, scenography, and architecture. Paris Fashion Week It then becomes part of a longer timeframe, extending the creative momentum beyond traditional fashion shows.
