The young designer Louisa Ballou transformed the images she created into art pieces with a spray of paint, color patterns, prints and abstract geometric shapes that entered the designer's collection and translated the paintings into bright Italian styles.

For your Primavera-Verano 2024 collection, the artist worked first with such vaqueros, which was divided into 4 distinct art pieces.

In your creative process, use serigráfica tints and cutters to create digital motifs inspired by botany and action painting and the result is dark, one can imagine a dress with a pair of Pollock or Willem de Kooning.

Engraving SunsetFor example, I incorporated one of my photos from Charleston, my native city in Carolina del Sur, where you can see the photos of your maravillosas. The artist worked on the motive with oil painting to create a surrealist effect and we applied it to the images, the stamps of life, the skin became a link and an authentic field of games for this virtuoso of fashion.

In addition, Louisa Ballou uses an innovative technique that allows her to digitally apply her stamps to the cotton threads through a personalized embroidery process and finish her creations with details such as latin leather, leather parches and metal hebillas.

All designs are inspired by the history of art. In particular, there are skirts that go directly to the pareos, the backs of the bolsillos are taken from the high-waisted bikini bras, and the cultural jackets are also a reference to the swimsuits that created… Emblem pieces of the Louisa Ballou brand.
