This Surcore design studio explores the limits of production and manufacturing using various sustainable materials to design furniture, products and spaces. In just three years of existence, our founders, Hwachan Lee and Yooomin Maeng, collaborated with an array of brands and customers, offering a wide variety of designs in the field of three-dimensional design and the collection Kerf Plastic Our interests are particularly high, there is the emergence of a more globally titled experimental project World Play, which explored new approaches to materiality and construction.

Therefore, the two designers used recycled plastic panels and the curved technology of the wood to make a chair, a groove and a bench to Re;code, a Korean brand of clothing. “Discover that this material is very easy to follow,” explains the designers, “and we intend to apply the technique Kerf Bending, used to curve wood on a recycled plastic table”.
