Project 213A is the story of four friends in love with Portuguese craftsmanship. They decided to set up their cabinetmaking and ceramics workshop in Portugal, working hand-in-hand with local craftsmen. Sustainability is at the heart of their concerns. As a result, Jurgita, Teresa, Maria and Clément set about imagining a new design process where emotion dominates their various creations. To preserve them forever.

The Foot stool is proof of this. Half-human, half-seat, the wooden creation is no longer seen as a functional piece, but as a companion to take with you wherever you go. In designing the Mirror chaise longue, the studio's four designers drew inspiration from the twentieth-century Brutalist movement. Like a chameleon, the geometrical work conceals itself in the surrounding space with its multiple mirrors.

As part of the Maison&Objet In The City 2024 event, the quartet exhibited their unusual furniture in Paris, marking their debut in the French capital. An opportunity to discover not only their flagship pieces, but also their newborns, notably the Porto modular sofa dressed in metallic faux leather. An avant-garde piece to be discovered without delay.
