Number 6, located on rue Paul Bert in the 11th arrondissemente The arrondissement offers an exceptional respite from the Parisian frenzy. The establishment has found its new chef in Pauline Séné, formerly of Le Fripon.

The Parisian location has been given a makeover: you now stroll along a marble counter, admire bottle-shaped light fixtures, and relax at attractive long tables that invite conviviality. A warm and welcoming place offering a delightful experience. You immediately feel the friendly atmosphere, conveyed by broad smiles on every face and the open kitchen that radiates the good vibes within.

Once seated at the table, overlooking the dance of pots and pans, we began our tasting with a small glass of red wine, Gamay from the Auvergne region, well-deserved to ward off the December chill that had crept into the Parisian streets. To start, I ordered an egg mayonnaise, a bistro staple in the capital. An appetizer that burst with flavor and set the tone for the evening.

To continue the experience, I opted for poultry accompanied by pan-fried carrots and creamed corn, its aromas enhanced by a delicately arranged virgin sauce. A decision I wouldn't regret, both for the elegant and colorful presentation and for the exquisite taste resulting from a perfect combination of flavors and ingredients.

To end on a sweet note, the dark chocolate mousse with its "sand rose" will be the perfect finishing touch to an evening rich in sensations. Each spoonful takes me back nostalgically to my parents' kitchen on a Saturday afternoon at teatime. A journey through the melt-in-your-mouth texture, the depth and richness of the chocolate, sometimes enlivened by the crunchy petals that nestle between your teeth for an explosion of flavor.

Le 6 is where bistronomy, fresh produce, perfect flavors, and understated elegance come together. A place to discover for a convivial experience you won't want to leave.
