This is the story of a trio of Belgian investors who fell under the spell of Cape Verde and especially São Vicente, the island of Cesaria Evora, which has remained untouched, far, far away from mass tourism.
They have joined forces to launch an ambitious real estate project overlooking João Evora Bay, under the banner "Barefoot Luxury": an invitation to a barefoot lifestyle…

Several villas have already been built, and others will soon be under construction. With their cubic shape, fluid lines, raw concrete, wood, and basalt rock extracted on site, minimalism is the order of the day in both the architecture and the interior design, which is limited to a few vintage pieces of furniture and local craftsmanship.

The Antwerp-based studios Polo Architects and Going East prioritized views and natural light. In a few months, 36 villas will be available for sale and rent, along with a lodge, Respiro, featuring a seawater pool and a beach bar.
A new hotel concept that shakes things up by combining lifestyle, comfort and investment.
