The precioso book by Charles Bramesco The Colors of Cinema (published by Pyramyd) contains detailed notes that are also concise in that there are several decades of films on one and another, analyzed as if they were full of colors.

Photo aficionados of Wes Anderson, Stanley Kubrick or Agnès Varda have all the details of the composition of the shots. More happily, you will enjoy revisiting the lively and vibrant colors of Suspiria, by Dario Argento, all of which include one of the numbered cinematographs presented in the book which comes with color indications in solid colors and RGB codes. It is the perfect form for analyzing the colors of cinema, and for recording that, if there are a thousand white and black tones, there are many varieties of mismo colors… As if there are so many blue and green skies as directors and films.
