The photography event not to be missed
Launched in 2013 by Martin Vegas and organized by the cultural association DeFactory, ImageNation aims to showcase the photographic work of the contemporary new wave. The art and photography festival will take place at the Palais Galerie Joseph on November 10, 11, and 12, 2023, in the City of Lights: Paris. This year, the exhibition will be held as an off-program event of Paris Photo. ImageNation returns with a new edition highlighting talented and award-winning artists from around the world. ImageNation explores the many ways of interpreting the world around us; the artworks engage in dialogue with the public, touching or shocking them. Since 2016, ImageNation has been based in Paris and exhibits in Arles, Venice, Los Angeles, New York, and Milan. The opening will take place on November 10th at 18 pm, where you will discover artists such as:
Zoe Cavaro:
She is a photographer, director, and her sometimes elven cinematic universe transports us to another dimension.
Eylül Ezik:
Bubbles, depth, spheres that make your head spin. The Turkish photographer takes us into a phantasmagorical universe where rounded shapes prevail.
Anna Muller:
This artist uses two techniques: collage and photography for a stunning result: color, geometric and allegorical shapes intertwine in her wonderful world.
Craig Whitehead:
Each photograph conceals multiple stories within a single image; often the background reveals a completely different reality from the foreground. We almost feel as though Big Brother is watching us. His art is poetic, political, and deeply moving.
