A MEDITERRANEAN AREA IN HAUTS-DE-SEINE

France – Asnières-sur-Seine

The Parisian architectural studio Heju transformed a studio into a bright loft that combined art, design and nature in the north of Paris. From 2015, the founders Hélène Pinaud and Julien Schwartzmann affirmed their audacity between “architectural compositions, furniture lines and combinations of materials”.

Aunque mezclar tastes of Japanese and Scandinavian influences, constantly playing with geometry and minimalist volumes to create timeless spaces. The loft that was renovated in Asnières-sur-Seine is precisely a place to stay, and it is not a Mediterranean attraction. This floor of 160 m², divided into three floors, is defined as “an enchanting, minimalist and intimate space”.

The two have removed the tabs from the bottom plant to create an ample and bright space with the front panel and the installation of a glass panel on the side that will connect the interior with the exterior. Also important is the details of our furniture designs, “sculpted into architecture as organic reliefs”.

In this way, the game of volumes, shapes and colors is a continuous game that subtracts “the normally invisible vacancy”. The habitable space is divided into three parts: the kitchen, the dining room and the living room, although the studio dominates the view from the entrance, there is much space below for a piano.

This estancia is a treat for the view, with natural and living materials and poetic and instinctive dimensions. The caracol step, even tall by hand, and the guinda was your home in the streets of Paris.
