South Africa

The South African photographer and artist probed the female psiche through the times of gravidanza, the changing relationships of motherhood, death, poverty and death.

"Your vision will only appear when you are guarding your heart. Chi guarda fuori, sogna. Chi guarda dentro, si sveglia" This quote from Carl Gustav Jung is the definitive statement of Stefanie Langenhoven's love. This photo of South African art is concentrated in 2015 on the psychology of humanity and in particular on the concept of femininity and on its representation of society.

This diplomat in design of communication, of beautiful art and of photography at the Open Window School of Visual Communication of Pretoria (sua city natal) dà così voce al femminile. Le sue artistic immagini, sia crude che sensuali, sfidano le fantasie veicolate e stigmatizzate dal patriarcato. Across this series, some of my words are discussed in terms of how they are perceived, if identified, if they are formatted.

Post in discussion and precetti

The photo explores the nozioni of the Anima (the female representation of the internal image of a human being) and of the Anima Mundi che, secondo diversi sistemi di spiriero, è una connessione intrinsica tra tutti gli esseri viei, allo stesso modo in cui l'anima è correlata al corpo umano.

"The photo shows the interior of the image and the distorted idealization of the female body”, spiega. “Voglio sapere like the image divided and of the body così like the perception vengono distorti dal riflesso di questa società ossessionata dall’aura feminine. Spero di toccare l'intangibile et permistere all'maginazione di trovare spazio, non solo per vedere e nutrirsi di un'immagine, un'idea ou una credenza, ma anche per essere attratta, sentita e scoperta”.

Andare all'interno

Your career is complete with an integrative and transpersonal psychotherapy studio at the Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy Education in London. This hope allows you to deepen your photographic knowledge. In 2021, we received the first Female in Focus of the British Journal of Photography for the personal and abblying series “Avatãra”, based on the hope of pregnancy and spontaneous abortion.

A ricerca che continued with “An Octopus has Three Hearts” and “Cocoon”. With “Sacred Feminine”, probe the feminine as archetype and the body as perfect imperfection. Perché entrambi devono essere sacri e celebrati in modo naturale e autentico. For “Siamese Soul”, it changes the mother-to-child relationship at the tempo; uno guardo a la sorellanza atraverso la unpredictability de la vita.

For the amount of “Postpartum Self Portrait”, there is no doubt in the scene, concentrating on its physical effects and mentality all at the same time. The portfolio of Stefanie Langenhoven is a radiography of the psyche of the senses and images.
