Guillaume Bellon and Antoine Bouillot are the creative minds behind the Parisian design firm BellonBouillotExclusively for the New York gallery STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN, the duo has designed and created the “PAW” collection. Always fascinated by the Greek, Etruscan and Roman antiquities of the Louvre, the designers explored the collections of ancient sculptures of the famous French museum, with the aim of forging a conversation across the decades.


The result? An experiment that inspired the PEACOCK TravertineEvoking a surreal vision of a chaise longue with a round and comfortable silhouette, the seat was crafted from a solid block of stone. Produced in a limited edition of only eight, PEACOCK Travertine It displays a perfect balance between cutting-edge technology and artisanal expertise. Indeed, the pieces were sculpted by exceptional Italian artisans, whose talent was combined with robotics to capture the essence of the piece.

Thus, the complex curves of PEACOCK They were hand-polished for days to create a smooth feel and make it more comfortable, which was the ultimate goal. Months and numerous prototypes were needed to create a piece where sitting becomes a true pleasure. The designers assure us that this block of stone is now the ideal place for a moment of meditative reflection. Available in various stones such as travertine, marble, as well as pink and green onyx, the PAW Travertino blurs our perception of history and time, both raw and precious, like the perfect sculptures of the Greek and Roman wonders in the Louvre.
The PAW line is also available in wool for a feeling of absolute comfort in a design that combines elegance and power.
