Italy – Milan

A petition from the founder of the sushi chain to raise Ichi Station, the Spanish design studio Masquespacio created a futuristic and pop space in Milan. With vistas to discover a universe propio of the experience of food that offers the brand, its creator, Yango Zhang, explored the world imaginary of the journeys and the station of train as identity. Masquespacio quería hacer evolucionar esta identidad hacia algo más conceptual, conservando su naturaleza pero alejándose de la estética habitual, demasiado literaria. Entonces, ¿un viaje? Yes, a route leads to the future, through the light.

“With this more futuristic look, you have the opportunity to represent the innovative sushi that presented itself in Ichi's card, a menu full of savory and colorful that was created by Yango in collaboration with chef Haruo Ichikawa”, commented Masquespacio's creative director, Ana Hernández.

In a decoration of pink tones, similar to an authentic space inspired in the 90s, customers sit on illuminated crystal tables, where they sit comfortably on benches, enjoying an original atmosphere.

A notable feature of this stable construction is the technology of the restaurant's segment, in the form of media that is, that the impression of entering a tunnel, directly to the future, through which the gastronomists can see a direct action from the sushi chefs of Ichi Station.
