Italy – Pantelleria
THE CHIC RURAL MEDITERRANEAN
A paradise lost in the middle of the deep blue sea, between Sicily and Tunisia, Pantelleria is a wild volcanic island, streaked with hiking trails and rows of vineyards and olive trees. Without beach, but with a lot of character.
Parisian Margot Guelfi and Milanese Massimiliano Panseca left their hectic city life to create a haven of peace here, Parco dei Sesi: a mixed concept of a mini-hotel built in lava stone with only 13 rooms, reserved for adults, an artists residence, and an ecological farm.
Its restaurant celebrates sun-drenched local products. Its pool and rooftop terraces look out over the Mediterranean. Its yoga studio and massage rooms invite you to relax. Between the slow living spirit of the hotel and the energy of the volcanic earth, magic happens.
