Architects, object and interior designers, but also scenographers, Formafatal is a creative studio with a thousand and one talents, who officiate in the Czech Republic but also in the four corners of the world, such as Costa Rica in Central America, nestled between the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean.
One of the little jewels they have created is the Villa Atelier in the south of the country. Immersed in the surrounding jungle, the building offers, in addition to its three bedrooms, its spacious living room, its garden terrace, and its seemingly infinite swimming pool, a place that frees itself from the notions of interior and exterior, thanks to its openings and highlights an unparalleled panorama of the vegetation, but also of the beach and the ocean.
Perforated metal façades also allow a real play with light, depending on the movements of the sun. These façades can be moved up to form awnings, thus providing shade for those who wish to lie on the wooden terrace that borders the house.
Some spaces stand out thanks to blackened wooden slabs, designed using an ancient Japanese technique known as Shou Sugi Ban. Hints of color that give warmth to this unusual place.
Finally, as if nature were not present enough, our exceptional villa, all in length, minimalist and with pure lines, is topped with a delicate green roof.
