France – Paris
Hugo, Thomas, and Pierre, three childhood friends passionate about cooking who dreamed of opening a restaurant together – Huthopi. Before that, everyone experimented in their own way with behind-the-scenes addresses (Cobéa, OKA, Clown Bar, Le Meurice, etc.) to enrich their know-how and enliven their creativity. A project that mixes passion and friendship always announces a good omen, and this is the case with the opening of this new address with sober and elegant architecture.
We start our lunch with hen’s egg, chorizo bellota, cetbette, buckwheat, oyster mushrooms, and corn espuma, with surprising and balanced tastes. A plate with multiple flavors that could destabilize our palate but, on the contrary, awaken our taste buds.
Then comes the dish, roasted burbot tail, bigorre black pig belly, lemon roasted cauliflower, cauliflower cream, coconut, and lemongrass sauce, a bold dish between land and sea, original and tasty, accompanied by a glass of Loire wine, light and delicate.
To finish, we taste the two desserts offered on the menu that day, exotic entremet, passion, mango and coconut, simply divine and profiterole chocolate peanut, hazelnut praline, peanut ice cream and bitter chocolate sauce, a true alliance between indulgence and comfort.
The reception is spontaneous and voluntarily relaxed; some dishes are even served by the chefs themselves for more proximity with the guests
You will have understood, a refined address that twists the conventions of French gastronomy with audacity and elegance.
