Photographer Vanessa Bosio observes the world and reveals the beauty of things we no longer see. This photographer of detail had already captivated us with her images taken backstage at the Leonard Paris & Christine Phung fashion show, offering candid, authentic moments far removed from the usual fashion clichés. Vanessa Bosio returns with a new, intimate, and personal project entitled NaturallyA true photographic account of a love letter to Lanzarote. This book recounts his instant attraction to this Canary Island and the aesthetic work of
Spanish painter, architect and sculptor César Manrique.

In a sincere and poetic journey, the artist invites us to discover this volcanic island through photographs that are at once raw, graphic, and dreamlike, in which nature becomes a work of art and architecture takes on an organic quality. As a passionate lover, Vanessa seeks life amidst the void, as she explains in a small hand-sewn booklet slipped inside the book: Not a soul in sight. No animals, no plants. The few that live here have my utmost admiration, for to survive here, one must truly strive. Life doesn't seem easy; the sun beats down relentlessly. »
She approaches spaces instinctively, absorbing the spirit of each place to create collections of images that she endlessly classifies and reclassifies. This self-published book of architecture and nature—hence its title—shares her vision of an island of controversial views and reveals the beauty of the unseen.
