Siddartha Simone was born in the Netherlands in 1984. Over the years, this creative spirit first developed a passion for painting. Later on, she developed her enthusiasm for art in the form of make-up art. From magazines to catwalks, Siddartha Simone made a name for herself and became a reference in her field.
Each year, the collections follow one another, and the make-up, always different, always manages to create an emotion in phase with the garment and the model. A sensation that will be instantly relayed on the networks, throughout the world, at the same time as the creations. An art that will also try to be explained in the trends to follow or in the tutorials for a result close to the one seen on the catwalk.
From Dazed Magazine to Vogue to Tommy Hilfiger, you will surely have come into contact with Siddartha Simone’s poetic universe. A hand and a vision that manage to propose various universes in adequacy with the time and the society. With her delicacy, she will play with the beautiful skins, the texture in addition to a subtle essence of colours. Between harmony and meticulousness, she magnifies a natural beauty underlined by her art giving to see grace and elegance.
Her attention to detail is remarkably meticulous with applications of pearls on the lips, lashes as if siliconed or cheeks marked to highlight the products to be highlighted. However, her work and the products are always interconnected, evoking a sense of fullness and contemplation for passers-by. With a simple black line, she manages to sublimate the features and bring out the natural beauty of each model that passes through her expert hands.
In March 2021, the 27 world editions of Vogue came together under the common theme of “creativity”, with a cover for the German issue created in collaboration with Siddartha Simone.
Today she lives between London and Paris and is represented by the British art agency Julian Watson Agency. Siddartha Simone travels to the rhythm of presentations and campaigns to share her passion, emotions and tips with her community, the public and readers who discover a universe close to poetic art.
