The story of La Samaritaine, located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, began in 1870 when Ernest Cognacq, ex merchant of textiles, decided to have an activity in rue du Pont Neuf with the mother, Marie Louise Jay. Since 1900, the collection was initiated by the seller and operated by trade. Furono poi lasciati in eredità all the city of Paris to create the Museo Cognacq Jay.

Oggi La Samaritaine decided to bring art back to the center of its creativity and was inspired by a true and artistic owner.

Artisti affermati o nouvelle vague, opera pop effimere et ludiche, giochi di materiali, colori e luci, La Samaritaine lascia che l’arte ridisegni i suoi spazi. There is a piano playing in an expressive space and there is an expressive mezzo.

I visited here, elsewhere, took the pop glass and poetic artist Marion Flament, diplomat of the Ecole Boule, in decorative art of Paris and vincitrice of the Academy of know-how on the glass of Hermès. The artist here proposes a contrasting game of shadow and light and rivets with a bright light in acidic colors. But also the favorite photo of the artist Ella Bats, winner of the Young Talent Prize of the Associated Agents and finalist of the 36th Villa Noailles festival, caught the eye of the beautiful image, the energy that circulated throughout the whole world.

A picturesque multisensory experience.
