The history of La Samaritaine, located in district 1 of Paris, began in 1870, when Ernest Cognacq, an ancient seller of telephones, decided to start a negotiation in the rue du Pont Neuf with his wife, Marie Louise Jay. In 1900, the matrimony began to collect art pieces to exhibit them in their home. We were sent to the city of Paris to create the Museo Cognacq Jay. Today, the Samaritan woman decided to turn her art into the center of her creativity and converted it into an authentic patio of artistic creativity.

Artists confirmed or of new generation, some of them are pop and fun, they are played with materials, colors and lights, La Samaritaine already has the art rediscovered in its spaces. Every plant is converted into an exhibition space and every plant is converted into a medium of expression.

Visitors can discover, among other things, the pop and poetic escapades of the artist Marion Flament, licensed at the Escuela de Artes Decorativas de Paris and ganadora de la Academia del saber hacer de Hermès en vidrio. This artist offers us a game of contrasts between lights and shadows and we discover a luminoso spectrum of acidulated colors.
