CARWAN GALLERY DESIGN IN ITS RAW STATE

Created in 2011 in Beirut, Lebanon, Carwan Gallery now has a new space of expression in Greece in Athens, a city in full bloom. Under the direction of Nicolas Bellavance-Lecompte and Quentin Moyse, both architects and creative entrepreneurs, Carwan Gallery is developing strong collaborations with cultural organizations, institutions and patrons. Present worldwide at the most important art and design fairs, Carwan Gallery is now considered a major player in contemporary design.

And when you discover the different artists with whom they collaborate, you can see why. Among the achievements of the Designers represented by the gallery, those of Theodore Psychoyos, particularly retained all our intention. The artist designer studied piano before obtaining a law degree at the Sorbonne University, while studying sculpture at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris. His works surprise us by the strength and brutality so mastered that they emit. A real poetic power between mythology and modernity, simply masterful.

Another designer to discover, Roberto Sironi, researcher, who lives and works in Milan. With his RUINS series, the artist summons the past through the use of architectural fragments, from the Mediterranean basin, such as Palmyra in Syria and Baalbek in Lebanon, belonging to different historical periods, put in relation with elements of the industrial era. His works bear the scars of the past and reveal to us, through an anthropological approach, new perspectives. Fascinating.
