Founded in the 1980s by Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy, the brand Dinosaur Designs The concept was conceived as a theory where forms and colors collide to reveal a natural symbiosis through its creations. Made from bisphenol A-free resin, the design studio's decorative objects and jewelry promote a manufacturing process that is sometimes artisanal – handcrafted in the workshop located in Strawberry Hills, Sydney – and sometimes responsible, making each design piece unique.
Last June, Dinosaur Designs launched "WOODLAND," a collection of extraordinary jewelry and home decor. A utopian vision unfolds in every curve of its unique pieces, offering an enchanting landscape within reach. Chalk swirls, sand pearls, malachite, and dark horn are just some of the colors featured in the Australian brand's palette.
“This season, we returned to an earthy and nourishing palette. “Woodland” is inspired by the colors, textures, and shapes of a wooded landscape. It was a joy to create this collection.” affirms Louise Olsen. Modeled in a natural resin, the grandiose pebbles of the "Boulder" necklace, the pearl-colored "Wishbone" bracelet or the imposing "Horn" ring in polished resin with patterns reflect an intimate nature, similar to the world of objects for the home.
