Based in Namyangju, South Korea, the designer Dongwook Choi offers, with “Crest and Trough,” a singular work. Inspired by the interference of waves, and conceived digitally, this mini collection of two seats, a bench and a side table, is dressed in a shiny metallic coat and takes us into another space-time. Undulations that come to life thanks to chrome and metal, a material studied by the designer during his time at Konkuk University. Dongwook Choi has also illustrated himself through the creation of the “Tooth Chair,” evoking the shape of a tooth. Creations halfway between furniture design and functional art, which echo the interpretations and observations of this young creative.
