This artist-designer designed in New York created architectures and entornos from digital data to log hyperrealistic visual experiences.

The architectural design has become an important part of the digital era in the last decade. The computer modeling programs and advanced technologies are expanding the limits of photographic reality, expanding the borders between real and virtual. These representations of hiperrealists are as good as their communication channels for artists, designers, architects and other creators, the creation of the Internet in aesthetics and emotions… and the work of Ceren Arslan is a perfect example. This 26-year-old virtuoso combines digital herramientas, artisanal techniques and digital data to create scenes that generate new narrative realities. Inspired by Ricardo Bofill, Luis Barragán, Peter Zumthor, and also by Diana Vreeland and Wes Anderson, Ceren Arslan has an impressive portfolio of visual, artistic and graphic quality.

Delusions

Its first project, Episodes, consists of a series of 2D collages, based on digital data shared on the Internet, which represent edificios imaginarios with numbers of known cities. With EXIT, we amplify the 3D concept through what we call “pre-fictional” spaces, apropos of its investigation into the influence of digital recursos. This way, we take into account the culture and the creation of the architectural image in which the twists transformed, which do not exist in the actuality, have the potential to be used in the future. It is through the imperfections captured in real life (textures, materials, patterns) that we log this level of absolute authenticity. The safety is defined as a safety of our world to improve in a new reality. In the present, Ceren Arslan follows the evolution of his project with other media, such as video, animation, music and painting, but maintains the object of being able to concretely construct what he creates digitally.
