In the metropolitan area there are 362 hectares of planted areas, with 120.000 plants of 350 different species, which are planted in large parks, nitrogen gardens and green fields. In this project, the vegetation and the construction zones cover equivalent surfaces, while the vegetation develops into a large part of the territory that, of course, is dedicated to the construction of a large commercial center.
Furthermore, it is a Smart Forest City that was designed as a self-sustaining urban area, producing energy thanks to a ring of photovoltaic panels and a water channel connected to the sea through a subterranean system that allows you to view the city in a sustainable manner.
The design of the new Forest City includes a campus of high technology innovation in which academic departments, organizations, laboratories and businesses work on a global scale to resolve the main problems of environmental sustainability of the world.
On this campus, you also have research and research centers to support students and investigators not only at Mexican universities, but also at high-level institutions all over the world.
