Once again, the House of Cartier created a surprise with the presentation of its new high jewelry collection “Beautés du monde” in June. It was in Madrid, in the former British Embassy with its brutalist architecture, that it exhibited its precious creations. And to highlight them, the French brand entrusted the scenography to the artist and designer Jaime Hayon. For the Spaniard, the challenge was to create a volume in connection with both the circular architecture of the place with radical lines and the collection with organic forms. Each space is distinguished by its tone, inspired by precious stones, while the display cases that host them recall the natural forms of the collection. With this scenography, Jaime Hayon creates a real jewel box.
