Rebirth of the Café de l’Ormeau in Ramatuelle

Held by the same family for eighty years, the legendary Café de l’Ormeau is awakening again thanks to the agitating trio of Indie Group. The idea? To refresh the place while keeping the original soul. So, the carved wooden bar, cement tiles, and wrought iron on the terrace recall the institution’s belle époque, while architect David Granata brings a fresh touch.

The wooden bistro furniture is revived by green hues and warmed by the use of leather and brass. As for the stoves, the great classics of the region can be enjoyed from early morning to the aperitif.

And what’s new in the Indie Group? The kiosk: shelves filled with literary works and newspapers selected by the curator Emmanuelle Oddo, to devour between two coffees… or two pastis!
