After a decade of dedicated service to Cartier, where she explored the world of jewelry, designer Lara Bohinc ventured into furniture design, opening her own studio in 2016. Obsessed with deconstructing and reconfiguring pure geometric forms, Bohinc creates designs characterized by rounded shapes, as seen in her latest collection, "Peaches," presented at Milan Design Week as a celebration of femininity. Comprising three seating options—"Big Girl," "Derrière," and "Peachy"—available in red and pink, the series is unmistakably inspired by the female form. The pieces were handcrafted in a North London upholstery workshop, featuring a wood and steel frame and a layer of foam to create soft curves.
