The design in three acts

Clap Studio, based in Valencia, Spain, focuses on the design of experiences through artistic installations, interiors and manufactured objects. Let's see more details about our projects.

“Sencillez, elegancia y diversión” are the key words of Clap Studio, founded by Jordi Iranzo and Angela Montagud. For five years, this duo of Spanish designers has created immersive experiences that liven up the territory, while crossing borders like Hong Kong, São Paulo and Minsk. Our very recent projects, without embargo, are signed in Valencia, that in 2022, will be named World Design Capital by the World Design Organization and will soon create an installation and a transformable space for activities and events. This is what we see: The Sea in the Copa America Flag (Veles e Vents), designed by David Chipperfield. The design was inspired by the beaches and the Marina of Valencia. A conceptual market made up of super-powerful and ambient lighting modules that use bright lights to simulate medusas in the water. The effect of the film generates different depths and public sensations that arise in the ocean.

Clean aesthetics, multiple perspectives

The interiors of Baovan, my leaves are “ Beach, beers & baos“, also keep in mind that we are on the market. This restaurant offers many dishes inspired by Chinese cuisine. So, the designers create an exotic gastronomic experience with a space divided into three thematic areas: the forest, the beach and the sea. Customers can come to rodeados of trees that come from technology like dense vegetation, less vegetation or less. The floor panel is projected onto a panel that adapts to the length of the table service. You also have the possibility of watching the moonlight in a reserved area. The third segment of your work is the Worm project, which is concentrated in the design. For this reason, the two work with Missana to produce a bank that appears as a ciempiés.

This system of three modules plays with shapes, sizes and colors to combine them according to their designs and spaces. With this idea, our clear queda that Clap Studio rebosa of ideas and innovation, secures a strong vinyl with functionality and versatility, naturalness and the average environment.
