Apasionados del urbex, the practice of visiting abandoned urban places, Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre dedicated 15 years of their life to recorrer Estados Unidos en busca de “cines”. In addition, the duo of photographers visited several dormitory theaters, beautiful buildings with three-dimensional decorations, as well as many vestiges of an old Hollywood. Abandoned, buried in the ground, transformed into supermarkets, metamorphosed into capillaries: these teatros rediscovered the brilliance of their barroca and Art Decó influence. More than a bus, a human adventure that has attracted a variety of exhibitions at the Polka Gallery, these “Epílogo” are the ultimate.
