Based in Antwerp, this couple of designers, both on stage and off, have managed to merge their talents. While Kathleen Opdenacker’s approach is rooted in graphic design, a taste for materials and a sense of detail, Jef De Brabander is more oriented towards industrial engineering, in-depth technical knowledge, and craftsmanship. A happy union from which intense and colorful creations have emerged, starting with the “Form” range, a collection of tables and stools, all born from a cylindrical shape in bent wood, which has been enlarged, contracted, cut in half or multiplied. In another genre, the “FINITE \ INFINITE” collection is inspired by three abandoned buildings with strong architectural silhouettes. Geometries highlighted by the mirror and polished steel, suggesting infinity.
