Nike is launching a modular shoe

Called ISPA Link (improvise, scavenge, protect, adapt), the brand-new shoe from the manufacturer with the comma is designed to be disassembled as much as possible, thanks to modules that can be combined by interlocking with each other. This new system, which is inspired by older models, such as the Presto from 2003 and the Zvezdochka from 2005, does not use glue, which is the main obstacle in the process of recycling sneakers, but which also saves time and energy when it comes to assembly. Once used, the different parts of the ISPA Link can be recycled and used again. The ISPA Link will be available in June, followed by the ISPA Link Axis in 2023.
