Hyperdrawing

Created five years ago to recognize the new practices of contemporary drawing and the wide range of formats, media and materials, the Fair of Art Drawing Now is subject to the creation of the same (sobre todo among the young collectors, but also, and sobre todo, between the artists) of a medium asequible and malleable, that it has infinite possibilities and is essential. From the intimidation of the paper hoja, antaño destinada al esbozo o al studio, hasta los muros de las ciudades de los han apropiado los artistas callejeros (algunos de los cuales presentan hermosas Incursiones Salvajes en el Museo de la Caza y la Naturaleza), así el dibujo ha adquirido una dimension totally new, overcoming the limits of the paper hoja cada vez more than a menudo, it is easy to play the mix of genes, overflows and other designs implemented in current visual arts.

For this birthday edition, an exhibition (duplicated in the Carreau du Temple and in the Frac Picardie de Amiens) titled Hyperdrawing I found this metamorphosis of the drawing, which has seen an XXL, performative, invasive, “extramural”… We discovered the artists that, following the example of Sol Lewitt and his Wall Drawings from the finals of the 60s, hipertrofian la linea para apoderase del espacio a través del gesture: The performative drawing of the Bulgarian artist Boryana Petkova, which was drawn with grills until the end, the full drawing of a suspended female body by the German artist Katrin Ströbel, or the performative drawing of Emmanuel Béranger is mine in salta. A worrying confusion of lines and gestures.
