To design its café, the Danish gallery Copenhagen Contemporary called upon the design studio TABLEAU. The studio itself enlisted other talents to design the seating for the Connie-Connie, with 25 renowned or established artists, architects, and designers each creating their own chair or bench for the establishment. A unique feature: all these pieces were made from offcuts of wood from the Danish company Dinesen. Among this diverse collection of seating, you'll find a remake of the famous LC2 chair in Douglas fir, pieces made of colored foam, and laser-cut designs. In addition to providing a welcome respite from your visit, these playful seats are also available for purchase through the TABLEAU studio website.
