With the object of Sarah Waiswa, the roses are offered suavely and the individuals appear to be on the ground of the African continent, bearers of history and also of renewal. With her artistic and documentary work, Sarah Waiswa's photography deals with the social problems of contemporary Africa, as she does not anticipate possible solutions. Sus series Stranger in a Familiar Land y Still a Stranger use the color as an element of language and the skin as testigo, an epidermis sensitive to its social environment, as the metáfora of the photo with a mirada fresca. In this way, poetry is one of sociology, the duration and the hope are based on the mark, and the image expressly where the words cannot be composed with so much clarity.
