Although the theme isn't new (we remember, in particular, the beautiful "White on White" exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery a year ago), we never tire of revisiting the magic of white, so often explored by modern artists.

Although the concept isn't new (we remember, in particular, the beautiful "White on White" exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery a year ago), we never tire of revisiting the magic of white, so often explored by modern and contemporary artists. A magical achronicity and polymorphism of a chromatic field with infinite and almost imperceptible variations, leading us to the boundaries of the visible and the invisible, the pure and the impure… From the Venus From Bertrand Lavier's immaculate triptych to Antoni Tàpies's earth-stained triptych, from Piero Manzoni's monochrome Achrome composed of cotton balls to Anish Kapoor's divine alabaster breast, from James Lee Byars's untouchable marble Eros to Jean Arp's soft and voluptuous Human Concretion, the mysterious color of light is shown here more tactile than ever.

Exhibition “White Days” – Gallery Kamel Mennour.
