Léa Augereau arrived in the world of painting by pure chance, and quickly established herself as one of the artists to watch. Trained as a stylist and model-maker, Léa Augereau's only ambition was to replace fashion design with painting for her portfolio. And the public, with her paintings. Most of them feature women, immersed in a radiantly colorful palette. They emanate a sense of superpower, self-assurance and boundless modernity. An approach firmly anchored in the 2021 era. So much so, that a painting she is currently working on, entitled "Notre Pouvoir", highlights the difficulty of reconciling life as a mother and life as a woman.
These are themes she tackles in a purely natural way, and which have led her to collaborate with some fine brands. Like Samsung, who recently asked her to reproduce one of her works on a refrigerator. It's precisely this kind of contract that stimulates the young artist's thirst for challenge. For the time being, however, Léa is concentrating on a new series which she would like to present in 2022, and which we can't wait to discover.
