A sweet blend of Japanese and Scandinavian influences.
No screws, no nails, not even glue: the extreme simplicity of the furniture created to measure or in small series by Alfred Rambaud, a young cabinetmaker based in Morbihan, compels admiration – and curiosity… An art of assembly learned from a Japanese master carpenter, Takami Kawai, in Kyoto, as well as the finishing with a (Japanese…) plane and the essentially manual woodworking, enhancing the purity of the lines inspired by French furniture of the fifties (Jean Prouvé, Charlotte Perriand…), Scandinavian furniture and the work of George Nakashima. "Wood is our muse, our palette; its shapes and colors speak to those who listen."said this great master, of whom our Breton craftsman seems to be the worthy heir.
Small console table in oak, linden and poplar; sideboard with solid oak cabinet and burnt legs; simple oak stools…: let yourself be tempted…
