In Porto Alegre, southern Brazil, there's a villa like no other. As if levitating above the treetops, Casa Mirador seems to float in the air. With its two main volumes and walkway overhanging the land, the house barely touches the ground. The architectural studio KS arquitetos has achieved a technical and aesthetic feat. Slender and light, the metal structure reveals large openings that offer a magical spectacle wherever you turn your head. Lush vegetation, the turquoise waters of Lake Guaíba, the orange glow of the setting sun, the deep blue of the starry night: here, every moment of the day is a delight.
