Multimedia artist, Josefa Ntjam passed from video to photography and sculpture to sound performance. According to an assembly practice, these parts seem to decline the structure of the celestial or aquatic universe. In Unknown Aquazones, the video is photographed if it is unexpected and if it is incorrectly photographed. Troviamo familiar symbols, natural history, cosmic imagination, sub-Saharan origins and cultures. Afro-futurism is not the province of the artist who aspires to its essence as a political concept and a practice of cultural ibridazione. If it is possible to create something other than the future of our reality, between interactions and transitions, we can emerge with a new post-colonial story.
