CLARA DAGUIN, WHEN FASHION MEETS TECHNOLOGY
Clara Daguin, a French-American designer, embodies the bold alliance of fashion tradition and technological innovation. Born in France

It was during fashion shoots that assistant stylist Lauren Perrin noticed the demand for tights The demand for gloves is far greater than the supply. Very quickly, she pooled her savings, turned to her friends to photograph her creations, and launched her eponymous brand in 2020, positioning herself in this niche market. Originally from Bayonne but now based in London, Lauren Perrin honed her skills at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and then moved to the UK to work as a stylist's assistant for three years. Without this experience, her brand would likely never have seen the light of day: she would never have known that stylists were looking for these accessories and would never have had the idea to enter this market.
A true masterstroke: since then, her pieces have adorned legs and forearms in a style infused with seventies inspiration and optical art. Success was almost immediate, and her pieces brought a perfectly measured touch of eccentricity to the looks featured in fashion editorials in the pages of Dazed, Vanity Fair, Vogue USA and Italia, W Magazine, Elle, and AnOther Magazine.
The stunning Bella Hadid has also embraced the arty trend of these accessories, which, in addition to their sophisticated aesthetic, boast eco-friendly production: the tights are made from recycled polyester, and their packaging is crafted from reclaimed fabrics from a prestigious London fashion house. A promising entry into the world of design for this young stylist, who doesn't intend to stop there and is already planning a ready-to-wear line for February 2022. Yet another promising talent to watch closely.
