Blitz Society is the ambitious project undertaken by a trio of friends to share their passion for chess with as many people as possible. Often considered elitist, this game The founders were more inclined to think of chess players in the streets of New York, where rabbis, young startup founders, and homeless people compete in a festive and friendly atmosphere. In this setting, social differences fade away, giving way to a shared love for this ancient game. It is in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés that the three enthusiasts wanted to recreate this social and generational communion. Designed by decorator Sandra Benhamou, the interior seems to resist modernity: the old stone walls, the wrought iron staircase, and the carved wooden doors harmonize in an equally old-fashioned decor where raw materials are the order of the day. To a backdrop of jazz, players, spectators, and especially amateurs come to share their common passion. Blitz Society is a meeting place that democratizes and modernizes the world of chess. An immersive experience that is sure to attract many fans!
