Blitz Society is the crazy challenge taken up by a trio of friends to share their passion for chess with as many people as possible. Often considered elitist game for the founders, the game is more reminiscent of chess players on the streets of New York, where rabbis, young start-ups and the homeless compete in a friendly, festive atmosphere. In this setting, social differences fade away and give way to a shared love of this age-old game. It's in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Près that the three enthusiasts wanted to recreate this social and generational communion. Imagined by decorator Sandra Benhamou, the interior seems to resist modernity: ancient stone walls, wrought iron staircases and carved wooden doors blend into an equally old-fashioned decor where raw materials are the order of the day. Against a backdrop of jazz, players, spectators and, above all, enthusiasts come to share their common passion. Blitz Society is a meeting place that democratizes and modernizes the world of chess. It's an immersive address that's sure to win many fans!
